Those seeking asylum in the UK has risen by 42% in one year at the cost of £1.4bn to the Taxpayer.

In an eye-watering sum of money to the Taxpayer, the cost of those who seek asylum here in Britain has risen by 42% at the cost of £1.4bn to the Taxpayer.

This large sum of money does not include the vast numbers that have come across the Channel into Britain this year. Not only does it cost us to collect them in the Channel, but the staffing, processing, coaches, security and accommodation costs are a fortune to the Taxpayer.

With numbers of those coming across the Channel into Britain predicted to reach as high 30,000 this year, £1.4bn is bound to go up sharply.
