Priti Patel Nationality and Borders Bill

Under new laws brought forward by Priti Patel, those who make the illegal trip to Britain by small boat could be arrested on arrival.

The Nationality and Borders Bill will be brought to the House of Commons on Tuesday as part of Patel’s promise to fix Britains asylum system.

When passed, It will be a criminal offence to knowingly arrive in Dover without permission. Doing so would see you thrown in prison with a prison sentence between 6 months – 4 years.

Ms Patel said: “The Nationality and Borders Bill contains vital measures to fix the UK’s broken asylum system. Our new plan for immigration is fair but firm.”

“We will welcome people through safe and legal routes whilst preventing abuse of the system, cracking down on illegal entry and the criminality associated with it.”

Four years in prison here would be a dream come true for these people. Free bed & board, free education, learn English. A gym to work out in. Then help in finding a job and a home when they come out. What’s not to like? Gotta be far better than the s***Hole thay’ve just come from. This four year penalty will attract them, not deter them
