Micheal Gove – If the EU think it can take our waters and tie our hands, Then we “take back control” and leave without a deal.

This morning Micheal Gove set out a firm stance stating that he would like to conclude a trade deal with the EU, but if to gain a trade deal means giving away our waters and parts of our sovereignty, then we have to leave without a deal.

So far these words from the government are not being taken seriously by the EU, they think this tough talk, claiming it’s all pantomime and political drama when in reality Boris isn’t Theresa May. As it stands, Boris isn’t for turning.

Micheal Gove said: “I wanted a deal, I’m Keen to conclude one, but it takes two sides to compromise in order to conclude one. The EU side are not doing so at the moment and if the choice is between accepting a deal in which our hands are tied, and we don’t have control over our own Waters, or leaving and being clear that we’re honouring the Mandate that the British people gave us to Take Back Control. Then we have to take back control.”

  1. It’s come to that point in proceedings that we have to just close the door to the EU.
Ignore their bleating and banging on the door.
Get things ready for operating as a fully independent sovereign state in a world much wider than the EU.
Get those other trade deal sorted, including re-entering the Commonwealth as a fully active and supportive member, not as the country on the fringe that we had to become under the EU.
