Angry Tory MP – 90 minutes to discuss something that’s “changed the nature of the relationship between state and citizen is not good enough”

Yesterday in the House of Commons we saw Conservative MP, Sir Charles Walker lambast the government after only giving 90 minutes to discuss the renewal of the Coronavirus Act. Charles labels the situation an utter disgrace and said it disrespectful to the house. Charles goes on to say that to only be given 90 minutes to discuss something that’s “changed the nature of the relationship between state and citizen is not good enough”. What’re your thoughts on this? Are 90 minutes long enough to debate on such a significant subject?
