On Monday night, Newsnight did a piece in regards to the English Channel Migrant Crisis. The BBC veiled the majority of the report on racism rather than Law Breaking. How can the BBC not mention that the anger built up around this crisis is to do with people breaking the law to enter Britain illegally and not about race?
How can it be right to see illegal migrants being accommodated in spa hotels, given food, WiFi and money to spend when we have poor/homeless citizens being forced to live on the streets, some who are ex-servicemen and women that don’t get this kind of service from the taxpayer. People are also angry at the silence coming from the government in regards to this situation and what’s being done to remedy this problem.
We in this country are not hateful people, we are one of the most generous nations in the world when it comes to helping those in need, but when our kindness is then looked upon as something to abuse it is something that people will get angry about and rightly so. People are sick of being labelled a racist for having a view of not wanting to house and look after foreign lawbreakers that come to this land.
The BBC chose to miss out crucial facts about this crisis that states that 85% of those who come to the UK by boat illegally are young men, they don’t have documents, and they do not respect Britain if they enter Britain illegally in the first place.
These people who come illegally know that this route into Britain is illegal; hence why they seek traffickers that supply them with boats and life jackets to get to Britain. These people are not stupid, yet the BBC would instead wrap them up as poor innocent people, and paint the British as racist haters. Why is the BBC so against the truth about what is going on. Is it any wonder the BBC is looked upon as a massively bias organisation that is extremely woke and massively out of touch with those who once loved the broadcaster when they label those who are angry at this as a racist problem.
