Peter Bone goes head to head with the BBC who claim it’s the UK that is in breach of the Withdrawal Agreement. Peter Bone said:
“Boris believed that we were going to get a comprehensive Free Trade Agreement, and our European friends would be negotiating in good faith. They clearly haven’t, they’ve decided that they want to get hold of our fishing grounds, and they decided they want to tell us about state aid rules, hardly within the terms of the withdrawal agreement. They clearly breached it. So what I think what the prime minister’s doing, is putting British interests first, and EU second.”
“Why should the EU tell us about state aid, they didn’t do that in the Canada deal”.
