STOP BREXIT Sturgeon labels the British Government “the most reckless and unprincipled” in her lifetime after Boris rewrote the withdrawal agreement.

After Nicola Sturgeon tried to use the rewriting of the withdrawal agreement as a tool to spark the case for an independent Scotland, Minister for the Cabinet Office Mr Gove shredded her case saying: “The devolved administrations of the UK will enjoy a power surge when the transition period ends in December. “Holyrood, Stormont and Cardiff Bay will soon have more powers than ever before, and there will be no change to the powers the devolved administrations already have.” Gove’s reaction was after this tweet from the SNP Leader as she labels the rewriting as a “full-frontal assault on devolution”. Nicola said: “The Internal Market Bill that the UK government will publish today is a full-frontal assault on devolution.
“And to the usual ‘but the SNP would say that’ voices, read the Welsh Government view below, rightly referring to the Bill’ stealing’ powers from the devolved govts… “At forthcoming @ScotParl elections, @theSNP will make a case for independence. And more and more this is not about independence v the status quo of devolution. It’s about independence as the only way to protect the Scottish Parliament from being undermined, and its powers eroded. “And added to all of the above, this is a Bill that, by the Government’s own admission, breaks international law. “This UK gov is the most reckless (& to make it worse, incompetently so) and unprincipled in my lifetime. Scotland can do better, and we will have that choice.”
We can’t be surprised by the SNP, as they are the same party who did everything possible to stop the implementation of Brexit. This is another anti-Independent UK push from pro EU party. Today Andrea Leadsom exposed the EU and explained the reasoning behind the British Government’s decision to rewrite the withdrawal agreement. Andrea said: “What Michel Barnier needs to accept is that the UK has left the European Union and we are not about to continue to be subjected to EU rules having left”.

“They (EU) are not taking their obligation to negotiate seriously enough, and so what the UK government has to do is in UK law, provide that clarification such that if we get to the end of this year and the EU has not negotiated in good faith, and we do not have a free trade deal with them, that we actually won’t be left in this massive uncertainty which is where we are right now.”

“That is a perfectly reasonable and essential position for the UK government to take.”

This move by the Boris has changed the game and has caught the EU off guard. Bottom line is if the EU had been full co-operating with the UK to rectify the grey areas in the agreement instead of stifling talks, then the UK wouldn’t be doing this.
