  1. His views seem to represent those of Brexit supporters while it’s the woke remoaners trying to block it. Appoint him straight away!

  2. Its about time Government made decisions and stop worrying about what the left think of it! Get the bloody job done! Tell the EU to bugger off and walk away! They are NOT going to give us a trade deal so let us get on with it! Sick of them ‘demanding’ and ‘threatening’!

  3. My opinion is that Labour and the rest of the Anti Brexit bods are frightened to death that Brexit will be a success, they want us to fail miserably, end up destitute and go running back to the EU with our tails between our legs.

  4. He has experience of handling civil servants and politicos, so yes. He might be more capable than the Oxbridge experts elsewhere.

  5. Despite people commenting on matters irrekevant Ex.PM Abbott has wealth of trade deal as a leader of sovereign free nation of Aystralia which must an asset to UK as Australia is one of 5Eyes group of free abd democratic nations.I am awarw he was a supporter of Brexit from. the srart like me and I visited Aystralia several times. Its part of common wealrh of nations and I fully welcome his appointment.

  6. Well – he’s English-born, and a Rhodes scholar, , and he’s been a Prime Minister. He dealt with Australia’s “refugee” boat invasion. Sounds pretty well qualified to deal with the rabble from Brussels
