Labour Remain politician admits its illegal for the UK government to ask for a trade talk extension.

Today on the BBC politics England, a Labour Politician was questioned over the UK’s negotiations with the EU. The BBC Reporter asked should Britain extend the negotiation talks for a further one year?

The Labour politician goes onto say: “It’s illegal for the government even to ask for an extension” We now know that the government is well on course to leave the EU, in its entirety, on the 31st of December 2020.

The EU can demand an extension all they want, but the UK government is steadfast in its refusal to grasp the extension that’s being offered. We have the date we leave set in law and its illegal for the government to ask for an extension.
