Brussels refuse a quick financial services deal offered by Britain

It’s has come to light that Brussels has refused the British Government’s bid to ensure quick financial services deal by summer.
Valdis Dombrovskis, who is the European commission chief of financial services has been reported as saying the EU would hold fire until they can see how far the U.K. want to distance themselves from EU rules and regulations before a firm decision is made.
It was only last month the new U.K. chancellor Rishi Sunak asked the EU if both sides of the negotiation wanted to sit down together to see if they could work towards a secure Stable access for the city of London bankers and European markets before 30 June. With regulations being identical an equivalent deal should be straight forward.

European Commission chief in a letter dated 13th March responded saying the EU hasn’t signed up to any deadlines.
