Today In the EU there has been many dividing moments. Firstly Macron is upset because he needs more money, Macron then lashed out saying if more money isn’t plugged into the budget it is un-European. Then we have a Commission president stating she will accept nothing less than a 25% budget for green initiatives. Then you have the German contribution doubling from £13 billion to £26 billion. Then, Varadkar states he can’t accept an increase in contributions if Ireland doesn’t get more out of it. Then at the end of all this bust up the European Parliament president stated that European Parliament will not pass this budget. The big question is… Is the EU divided?
