Boris Johnson told 'WTO is fine by us' but EU hopes for more ambitious trade deal – EU's Von Der Leyen

In it’s first plenary session without British MEPs, the members of European Parliament are debating the future EU-UK trade deal. European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen voiced concerns over Boris Johnson’s move towards an “Australia-style” in order to avoid EU’s so-called “level-playing field” demands on rules and standards.
